We had our class trip to Mill Green Water Mill Museum which linked with our history topic about The Great Fire of London. We enjoyed many activities including, identifying and naming artefacts from the time, learning about how wheat has been ground from ancient times up until now, watching the watermill in action, making bread rolls, making a cardboard Tudor house, an archaeological dig and a quiz about the fire. Our leader Nick was amazed at how much we all knew. We ended the day with a ‘bucket race’ which was really fun.
Peartree Class were amazing and all the adults were so proud of them.
