Our art learning this term has centred around the question ‘What Does it Mean to be Free?’ After exploring what the word freedom means to us as well as famous freedom fighters, we experimented mark making through printing.
Preparing our prints was lots of fun; using lino was a tough new challenge!
We are excited to create our final pieces next week – portraits of historical figures who are dedicating or have dedicated their lives to fighting for freedom.
