To begin our learning in art this year, we have sketched Second World War planes. We started our learning journey looking at photographs of a variety of planes and drew some observational sketches. Next, we looked at how construction lines could be used to provide an excellent foundation for a realistic and proportional drawing. We built upon our construction lines to create the shape of the plane. To finish, we focussed on the use of shading to depth and detail to our final pieces. Enjoy looking at the pieces below.
