We were delighted that 22 children from Years Five and Six (with two children from Year Four competing in the Year Five team) were able to represent our school at the Stevenage Sporting Future Teams Cross Country competition. Seventeen schools from Stevenage and the surrounding area participated. We were immensely proud of everyone who took part – the children showed determination and resilience throughout.
We achieved some very impressive results with our Year Six boys team winning their event; both Year Five teams (boys and girls) achieved fourth place and our Year Six girls achieved eighth place. There were around 100 runners in each event – Ethan achieved a particularly impressive 3rd place medal!
