Despite the rain, we were delighted that 21 children from Years 5 and 6 were able to represent our school today at the Stevenage Sporting Future Teams Cross Country competition. Eighteen schools from Stevenage and the surrounding area participated. We were immensely proud of everyone who took part – the children showed determination and resilience throughout.
Our Year Six team were selected to receive the ‘passion’ award; a well-deserved recognition of their pure grit and determination.
We were absolutely delighted that our Year Five boys team achieved FIRST place – wow!
Ethan (Year Five) also deserves an extra special mention as he competed as part of the Year Six team and achieved an impressive 16th place amongst a field of around 100 runners.
