In DT, we have been making bread. We began by sampling some different breads from around the world. We compared their taste, their texture and their appearance. Some of our favourites included brioche and sour dough.




Making our bread also supported our previous learning in science about irreversible changes. We learnt how to make the dough and then knead it. Next, we added our chosen ingredients – cheese, banana, tomato or garlic and herb. After that, our bread rolls were left to rise before going into the oven. Finally, we took them home to enjoy!
As part of our evaluation, we wrote detailed instructions about how to make our delicious bread.
