This week, we have made our own pencil cases. We learnt how to use a sewing machine last year when we made cushions so we were able to refine our skills in order to make our pencil cases which have a zip. In order to sew in the zip, we needed to make sure that we kept a steady speed and a very straight line! We embellished our pencil cases with a design which we attached using either running stitch, back stitch or over stitch. We are very proud of our finished products.
