We have enjoyed our recent English learning based upon Shaun Tan’s ‘The Lost Thing’ book. After exploring his style and deepening our understanding of how we can manipulate grammar to take our readers on an exciting journey, we had a go at writing our own stories and illustrating them too. We had lots of fun and are really proud of our outcomes.
Once our books were complete, it was lovely to share our stories with our buddies in Shackadell class.
