Today, a team of seven children from Year Five competed in a table tennis tournament at Barclay Academy. Our children showed incredible commitment and enthusiasm in preparing for the event; they have practised most lunchtimes (thank you to Miss Branagan for facilitating this) as well as arranging their own practice sessions in the evening and at weekends.
The children showed great enthusiasm and sportsmanship; they represented Aston beautifully. Great fun was had by all.
Our girls’ team won bronze, and the boys tied in third place. Well done to all the children involved and thank you to Mrs Brazier and Mr Paget for supervising the team on the day.
