Today we went to church for our service of Remembrance. Danes and Puddlebridge classes were dressed as evacuees as part of their learning about the Second World War. It was wonderful to hear a beautiful recital of ‘In Flanders Fields’ by Ethan, Nikita, Gabriella and Finn. This was followed by a response to the poem by Daniel. Haffydown Class had made beautiful crosses for Remembrance during a recent forest school session; they lay these at the war memorial after the service. As usual, we were delighted that so many friends and family were able to join us.
