We are going to be learning about significant people in history. We will learn about Ibn Battuta, one of the earliest recorded explorers; Bessie Coleman, the first African-American woman and first Native American to hold a pilot license; Christopher Columbus, who introduced us to many new foods from the native Americans and Neil Armstrong, the first man to step foot onto the moon.
