Shackadell class have been taking part in 30 Days Wild by the Wildlife Trust. We have spent some time every single day focusing on nature and the environment. We have observed animals and insects in our local area and on web cams. We are also watching some caterpillars as they grow and change into butterflies. We have been focusing on cleaning up our school grounds by litter picking. We went on a nature scavenger hunt around the school with our buddies and created some fantastic posters with them. We also toasted marshmallows on a campfire with our buddies which was such a fun experience! On one of the really wet days we had the best time jumping around in the puddles on the playground. It has been wonderful spending time every day focussing on the natural world and we have learned so many new things.

On one of the days we had a fun time making pictures of our Dad’s using rocks and other natural materials – they made lovely Fathers Day cards!
