Today we were very excited to take another trip out of school 0 this time to the theatre! We have been really enjoying books by Julia Donaldson and so we were particularly excited to go and see ‘Tales from Acorn Wood’ being performed. This links closely with our curriculum ambition of performing on a stage. We have been thinking about our own performance voices during reading practice and when we tell stories.
We thoroughly enjoyed watching the characters who were created using giant puppets. We loved the singing and even joined in with the songs. We had to count along and we sang Happy Birthday to Bear.
It was really fun to be in the theatre and we were very well behaved. What a fantastic trip out!
