Shackadell class went to Hertfordshire zoo. We have been learning all about dinosaurs recently and we really enjoyed the dinosaur trail at the zoo. It was amazing to see how big these creatures really were and some of them even moved! We also enjoyed being palaeontologists, searching for bones and fossils in the giant sandpit.

We spent the rest of the day exploring the zoo and learning about all of the different animals. We know so many things about animals due to all of our amazing forest school learning. We loved finding out even more. We even saw a tiger eating a whole rabbit!

We finished the day off in the world of birds. We love birds very much and had a great time seeing them up close. We talked all day about the habitats of the animals, what they eat and how they behave. Ask us anything!!
