In Year Four, children start to consider the counter-arguments when looking at evidence and sources of information. They begin to understand the social, economic and environmental factors that need to be considered when undertaking an enquiry and are guided in doing this. They vocalise and express their own opinions and are encouraged to back this up with evidence.
