- History Year 4

By Year Four, children can now discuss the reliability of their hypothesis in more depth by explaining and justifying. They recognise that enquiry can often open more questions than it can solve. This can be seen on the next page where a child discusses lack of written evidence and the issue with relying on evidence written by Christian Monks when studying a Saxon grave. They consider how other evidence is yet to be uncovered which may provide more answers and effect our understanding.
