This term our historical and geographical learning will be based around our topic, ‘Brave and Beautiful Britain’.
During the first half term, we will be learning all about the Second World War, focusing on the Home Front. We will soon become experts on evacuation, rationing, and the Blitz. We are looking forward to visiting the Imperial War Museum at Duxford to support our learning.
Later on in the term, we will be developing our geographical knowledge of the British Isles. We will investigate the key features of different locations, consider how locations have changed over time, and compare two contrasting localities.
