In English, we have enjoyed reading Arthur Spiderwick’s Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You. This has provided us with lots of exciting and varied opportunities to write in different genres using a rich vocabulary.
As a final challenge, we wrote our own class field guides. In this we created our own fantastical creatures and each produced a double page entry for our class books. The outcomes were really impressive.
