Last term, Puddlebridge completed a unit of learning in Music based on Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey – a Rock anthem from the 80s. They learned that a Rock anthem is a powerful, celebratory Rock song of which Don’t Stop Believin’ is one of the most well-known. As well as learning to sing, play, improvise and compose with this song, they listened to and appraised other Rock anthems from the 80s. As a final project, they put together a whole class performance that consisted of singing, recorders, and glockenspiels. Puddlebridge have truly loved learning this song.
