In design and technology, Danes class have been working with textiles. Their task was to design and make a pencil case. Initially, they looked at the different designs, materials and features of the pencil cases belonging to different people in the class. After that, they worked in groups to create mood boards of ideas taken from images found online. The next step was to design their own pencil case and practise using the sewing machine and sewing by hand. Then they were ready to get started! The finished pencil cases were amazing!
