We read the core text ‘Lost and Found’ by Oliver Jeffers as part of our learning about Antarctica. We really enjoyed learning about penguins this week and this story was a fun way to end the week.
We decided to make our own boats which meant that we needed to use lots of our cutting and joining skills, as well as our scientific knowledge and understanding to see which materials would be good to use. We designed, made and then tested our boats to see if they worked.
