Our Spring class trip was very exciting! We were lucky enough to be invited back to St Christopher School in Letchworth, to visit their on-site animal centre. After a ride in their minibuses, we met so many fascinating creatures, and we were even able to hold and feed them! We were looked after by James, the animal keeper, who answered our (many) questions about the care of the animals. We loved feeding the pygmy goats and alpacas, watching the chinchillas bathe in the sand, and cuddling the beautiful rabbits. Our most special moment was holding and feeding the sugar gliders. They were so tiny and cute, but they could run very fast…right up to our heads, to sit in our hoods!
